Bless the Floor Event Sunday, October 31st – 4:30-6:00pm You are invited to attend our “Bless the Floor” event for the new Children’s Ministry Facility this Sunday, October 31st from 4:30-6:00pm. You will be ...
We are building a brand new Children’s Ministry facility.
We are building a new Children’s Ministry facility to accommodate the tremendous growth of our existing Children’s Ministry and expand our future ministry to reach and welcome new children and their families.
• 20,000 square feet
• Large, open gathering space
• Improved child security
• Space to accommodate more than twice as many children – from 300 to 650!
• Restrooms located within classrooms
• New Root 56 room
• Larger, well-equipped classrooms
• Library/gathering room
A rough estimate is that we could occupy the new facility in early 2011.
The projected price for the construction and furnishings is $4,500,000.
A bank loan will be required for any funds that are not raised through the “Building A Legacy” campaign.
A Capital Stewardship Campaign is a church project that seeks financial commitments from members of the congregation to be used in paying for a major construction project such as, in our case, a new Children’s Ministry facility.
We hope to receive commitments for as much money as possible in order to borrow as little as possible.
No. Participation in the campaign and how much you give will be entirely up to you. All members and guests will be given the opportunity to contribute if they wish to do so.
No. Participating in the campaign is a personal decision for each of us. Anyone may contribute to God’s work in our church.
Allow God to speak to your heart through prayer. Read Scripture passages that speak about stewardship and giving,
such as 1 Corinthians 16:2, Proverbs 11:25, Proverbs 3:5-9, 2 Corinthians 8:7, Acts 20:35, Luke 6:38, and Psalm 116:12.
A commitment card helps the church leaders understand what kinds of gifts to expect and when to expect them. By completing this card you allow the church to move forward with a thoughtful, wise financial plan.
You are asked to make a 3-year commitment.
Absolutely! All commitments matter, regardless of amount, because as we all participate according to our ability, God multiplies our giving.
Yes, only our financial services staff will have knowledge of pledges and giving records.
Contributions to “Building A Legacy” officially begin with the special offering on Announcement Sunday, June 6, 2010, when we will “demonstrate” what God has led us to do for His church.
You can make your contributions by cash or check. Other forms of contributions can include the transference of title to marketable stocks, bonds, real estate, etc.
On Commitment Sunday, May 16, everyone in our congregation will be given the opportunity to make a three-year commitment to “Building A Legacy” above and beyond his or her regular tithes and Faith Promise offerings. Please plan to be present for this Commitment Sunday and join with us in our commitment to sacrificially give toward this exciting vision of “Building A Legacy.” Then let’s watch what God will do!
Yes, you may update your commitment at any time.
A commitment card is a statement of intent, not a contract. If your financial circumstances change significantly, your giving may also change. Simply contact the church to adjust the change (increase, decrease, or timing) in your commitment.
